As is the past I would like to make an extensive list of venues, but here are a few to start with.

The Stables in Wavendon One of the premier venues in the area, The Stables plays host to music, comedy and musical education. With two venues the 394 main auditorium and the 80 seated Stage 2, this venue is not the largest in the area, but the intimate surroundings, friendly nature of the staff and volunteers makes this a place where audiences and artists love to return.

Empty Room Promotions in Buckingham and Oxford, If it’s Americana you are after then this should be your first stop. With use of some great venues and wonderful helpers one of the best local promoters

Hitchin Folk Club – If you are looking for Folk and acoustic music then this is probably still one of the best in the country, run on every Sunday for 10 months of the year

East West Promotions Initially started in Bedford in 2001, on a casual basis, they have grown to hold regular events during the year. Mainly concentrating on Americana though they are not afraid to diversify and experiment with new touring bands and artists from the USA, many great discoveries have been found here.

Esquires in Bedford A down to earth venue with 3 available performance spaces and an opportunity to not only see young up and coming bands and artist but established ones too this is one on the best medium size venues striving to keep music “live”

The Junction Cambridge with two venue spaces, Junction One with a capacity of 850, standing, is ideal for those bands with a larger following, while Junction Two with a capacity of 220 caters more for the acoustic evenings. Which ever space you choose you are usually in for a treat.
